Company Ethos

 

We are a husband and wife collective.

Working with communities across London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, we produce shows, run creative workshops and promote healthy minds & bodies.

Our mission, is to make dance accessible and inclusive for all communities of people. To promote healthy minds and bodies through the arts and to provide professional, affordable dance training for young people. We believe in the importance of creativity, imagination and getting those bodies moving, no matter who you are or where you came from.

Kasia Truefitt

MA Choreography

Registered Expressive Arts Educator 

 

Artistic Director | Choreographer | Wife

Kasia was born and raised in North London. She began her dance training in Ballet, Musical Theatre and Contemporary Dance from a young age but found a true love for Choreography and teaching whilst studying Contemporary Dance leading her to pursue a Masters of the Arts in Choreography from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2015.

 

After graduating, Kasia became a Participation Officer at the Blue Elephant Theatre in South London, a member of the Youth Advisory Group for Siobhan Davies Dance and worked as a Freelance Dance Artist including choreographing internationally for Upstage Productions and East 15 BA Acting and Community Theatre. 

 

In February 2019 Kasia trained as a facilitator in Dancing Mindfulness with The Creative Institute for Mindfulness before travelling to LA in November 2019 to complete further training and become a faculty trainee. Kasia’s experience and love for the industry has enabled her to work actively within the creative arts as an advocate for providing artistic opportunities to wider communities.

Ross Truefitt

Co-Founder | Media Producer | Husband

Ross was born and raised in North London. He began his Artistic Education at age 17 where he studied Art and Design.

 

Ross progressed into Interactive Media after falling in love with Photography and Film Making. In 2010 Ross began studying BSc Broadcast Media (Design and Technology) at Brunel University and continued to work as a freelance photographer under @truefittphotography.

 

Ross creates short films, web designs and photographic portfolios, specifically pursing his interest for capturing Dance photography. Ross Truefitt also manages HR for Truefitt Collective.
